EliteSource Roadmap // What's Coming Next

EliteSource is officially live — but this is only the foundation. The goal isn't to build another generic forum. I want EliteSource to feel like its own place: a community built around technology, gaming, development, discussion, and whatever else we decide to turn it into. I'm developing the BBS from the ground up, and you'll probably see things change quite a bit as we go. **CURRENTLY LIVE //** - Member accounts and profiles - Boards, threads, and replies - Private messaging - Thread watching and notifications - Member ranks - Admin and moderation tools - Display name change requests - Email verification and account recovery - Mobile-friendly dark BBS interface **PLANNED //** - Board categories and better board organization - Expanded member profiles - Improved notifications - More moderation tools - Search - User preferences and customization - Better thread/post formatting - Community and reputation features - Quality-of-life improvements throughout the BBS There are also plenty of ideas that haven't made this list yet. One of the reasons I'm launching EliteSource now instead of waiting until everything is finished is because I want the community to have a part in what it becomes. If there's something you'd like to see, post it in **Feedback & Suggestions**. If something breaks, throw it in **Bug Reports**. I'll keep this roadmap updated as features are completed, changed, or added. -Steve
